Many Christians have developed their spiritual life as members of small groups, sometimes called Home Groups, Fellowship Groups or House Groups. These groups of people meet regularly in members’ homes.
Usually they meet to study some part of the Bible or a theme running through several books of the Bible.
They will discuss amongst themselves and relate what they study to their lives ,as Christians today . The groups are not just about Bible study, lasting friendships are often formed .They are a place to discuss the joys and issues of living as a Christian today. The time will usually involve a time of prayer and certainly a cup of tea/ coffee !.
St Andrew’s has two house groups which meet monthly ,each one in evenings.
One meets face to face within members home - Skircoat Green Group, and another the Seekers ,which currently meets via Zoom, to enable persons to have conversations from within their own homes .
